Bloody stool in infants with gastrointestinal manifestations of cow milk protein allergy, any significance?

Background: Cow milk protein (CMP) is the most common cause of food allergy in infants and young children. CMP (CMPA) can affect more than one system, such as skin, respiratory, or digestive systems. Gastrointestinal tract manifestations are nonspecific. One important GI CMPA bloody stool. Purpose: This study aims to describe how many with presented stool it was a very annoying symptom family be managed adequately. Methods: included 100 patients gastrointestinal CMPA, their ages ranged from 8 weeks 2 years. 52 males 48 females. All were subjected complete history, thorough clinical examination, imaging necessary, laboratory investigations Results: diarrhea recorded 23 patients, them diagnosed protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome (FPIES). Occult blood detected 11 group (33.33%), 17 GER (47.2%), 5 (83.33%) who constipation associated massive abdominal distension.
